And from what I have heard they may propose it again next year to change that the offense gets the ball at the point or fumble instead of automatically giving it back to the defense. Part of the rule change would include that if the offense recovers a fumble in the endzone it returns to the spot of the fumble to prevent the intentional fumble forward play.
