I think USC was overlooking Stanford because of the Northwestern loss.

They were unprepared for Stanford's offense. If they played again (and I think they will in the P12 championship game), I would be really surprised to see Stanford win.

I see that as a coaching problem. USC's talent level is clearly better than Utah's. I think the real question is whether Sark can have them prepared and motivated for that game.
