There is so much more to it than that. Some people have problems processing

the material quickly. Timed tests limit people with processing issues. For example, my wife had a 4.0 coming out of high school and got like a 21 on her ACT. She graduated from BYU with a 3.95 gpa. I am not saying it's like that for everyone, but, it certainly is for more common than you would think.

20 - 1996. She had a 4.0+ in high school and was from Virginia, so that helped.

I took both the SAT and ACT and did much better on the SAT than the ACT.
