I don't think I agree with that. The Oklahoma State and Cal games were both
very close games against ranked teams. Of course they ended horrifically for Texas, but there were some moments of very good football in both of those games.

But that is the signs of a rebuilding program. Can they slowly put the pieces together or do they get worse. TCU was a buzz saw, but I'm interested to see what happens this week in the Red River Rivalry. Insiders keep repeating that Strong has some breathing room for at least a year, and if he plays OU close this week (even if Texas loses), that seems more likely to be true.
