Two things. One. . .I don't think anyone argues that aromatherapy can help you
relax. This is a fact. If you have a pleasant smell, you are going to relax more than smelling a locker room. Also, it is likely helpful in one way or another to aid in massage, etc. Though this could be debated.

Now, if we found out that the reason that Taysom was sent back into the game was because they skipped the X-ray/MRI and just rubbed essential oils on it to heal it, had him drink some noni juice, and eat a rhodes roll, then sent him back out. This is where people get up in arms.

Two. . .let's take some of the most superstitious/routine/suggestible people on the planet (atheletes) and provide them with something that at the very least will have a placebo effect. Heck, why not. . .if it's free and does no harm! It's like a while back when athletes were wearing magnets or those braided necklaces that were totally debunked.

If it helps the athletes overcome their psychological stumbling blocks, I'm OK with it.
