So BYU was a "national program" three weeks ago, by your definition?
No.
There are about 15 of them. And we all know which programs they are. Even in a down year, people from around the nation care about Michigan (as we've seen the last few years) and Texas (as we see right now). The minute BYU or Utah loses a couple games, nobody cares about them.
Is Utah in the spotlight currently? Yes. They are not a national program, though.
