To call people irrational when they complain about how Carter is being used is, well, ACTUALLY irrational. Carter could be very effective in wheel routes, or as an emergency release for Mangum when other routes are covered. He's looked pretty good in space because he is fast and shifty. But Anae and/or Mangum rarely use him that way. Part of that is play calling, and part of that is Mangum just needed more experience to go to other options when the primary is covered. The interception in the end zone was a good example, as somebody else pointed out--Carter was wide open but Mangum threw into coverage.
