My point is that free agents will not go to London because of this. Sure, London can draft players, but ultimately they would be uncompetitive due to the costs to free agents.
Put it this way: would you move to London if your job required you to fly back to the US more than twice a month, and didn't give you a pay increase to compensate for the added taxes and cost of living? London is the most expensive city in the world.
