Being psuedo P5 doesn't really mean that much for BYU
It just means BYU will have an easier time scheduling games in the future with P5 opponents. That's about it.
Being a true P5 means you are part of a P5 conference and get P5 conference money. Until that happens, BYU won't be able to consistently play with the big boys.
It's like get a promotion in name only without a raise.
