ECU fan here. Generally speaking our fans have a great respect for your program. We are very familiar with your history, National Championship and great QB's that you've had in your history. We are really excited about this series, I certainly hope we can schedule more games in the future. We basically look at this like a P-5 matchup that we are just as excited to play as we are when we play V. Tech, Florida etc.

As some of you have commented you will notice that our fanbase always has a "chip on our shoulder". It is something most fanbases will notice about us and something we are actually quite proud of. Nothing has ever been easy for our program and we were never handed anything, we had to take it. This stretches beyond athletics with the fight we had with UNC to get our Med School, the fight we had to get our Dental school, etc. It's just kind of in our DNA as a program when we have so many ACC schools around us.

I've always thought there was a decent population of LDS members in NC (I went to HS with 3 guys that went to BYU) so I feel like there will be a good following for you when you play at ECU next year.
