The funny thing about that "play". It isn't a play. It's a concept.
AKA--scramble drill. When the actual play breaks down and the QB rolls right by design, WRs are taught what to do, which is usually roll right as well and go deep.

Taysom hit Juergens vs. Virginia on the same concept last year for a TD as well.

And Anae called it on 3rd and 4th down on the last 2 plays of the game vs. BSU, and again on the last play vs. UCLA. It worked 1 out of 3 times.

So again, it is kind of a bad concept to go to so often on crucial plays, because it is uncertain to work due to the low probability of the pass itself. BYU has had success with it, but you really can not rely on it as much as Anae has this year in crucial situations.

And saying so is actually a solid critique.
