But had to just laugh at myself.

As the players were running around the stadium giving fans a high 5, I rushed down with my kids and their cousins so they could get into position. I had just seen Houk giving the refs hugs and then the butt chewing by Anae after that. Well I was standing and giving some shout outs to some players when I saw Houk running by. I yelled out, "Houk, I need a hug"... got some laughs from fans around me, but to my surprise he smiled and came back and said ok I will try. He reaches up and grabs me around the head and gives a long distance hug and then pats my kids on the head as he leaves.

I felt kind of dumb cause I really didn't want or need a hug, but was trying to be funny. My kids enjoyed the up close and personal "hugs" so I guess that was good. Needless to say, Houk is a solid dude. I really like the attention these players give to the fans.
