Thanks for all the ticket offers and suggestions. We got great tickets and enjoyed the view. Traffic was absolutely miserable getting into Provo on Friday. Google maps re routed me to the Sandy Parkway (glorified frontage road) and that actually saved us a significant amount of time. Got into Provo about 20 min before kickoff and into the stadium right before kickoff. Missed any of the pre-game stuff. Stadium was really dead in the beginning. Took about an hour for the stands to fill in. Once the sack fest began, the crowd was really roaring, even up at the top where our seats were. Fiancee actually got into it quite a bit and really seemed to enjoy the game. Her college football team was pretty miserable (she actually regrets not going to BYU even thought he scholarship was better at her school) so she never got into college sports. Right now, I'm sure she is partially just going along because she knows I love going to games. I'm hoping I can turn her into a little more of a fan. She is a big baseball fan so she understands the "going to the game and following a team" thing. I suggested going to the Utah State game since we'll be up in Logan that weekend anyways and she was excited about it.
