A 2 loss Stanford does not beat out a 1 loss conference champion

Notre Dame might have a chance if they destroy Stanford but, with a 12 game schedule and a not being a conference champion, I think it would be a long shot.

The difference is Oklahoma still has to play #11 Oklahoma St. TCU didn't have that same benefit (they played ISU)

2 loss Stanford could beat out a 1 loss Oklahoma State. Outside of that you are correct.
