Yowzers- this was a nice heart-attack moment for a parent. I just measured my
daughter's temperature at 105.7. Got that reading twice in a row. I considered calling 911. I asked her to recite the alphabet, and she smiled like I was a weirdo and started singing it- definitely not acting delirious or even particularly feverish, although she is sick.

Her temp really wasn't that high- she had been balled up under a blanket for a while, and this was one of those temporal lobe thermometers. Took it again 30 seconds later after she was out of the blanket and it was in the high 103s, but unfortunately I think thats where her temp really is. Just got her in the bath and reduced it to 98.

BTW- her younger sister was just sick with a fever for like 4 days, and we also measured around 103 for her several times as well during that time. Yesterday we took the younger one to the pediatrician because it was day 4, and they said that it just looked like a normal bug and to let it run its course. It looks like the older one has the same thing now.

Happy Thanksgiving!
