Being favored doesn't mean clear talent advantage.
If you want to call Kwhitt's 6-3 advantage over Bronco, domination. . .that's fine. To suggest that it extends all the way back in the MWC is nonsense.

Of the 6 losses, which ones did BYU have a clear talent advantage? Because you said there were MANY years where BYU had a clear talent advantage. How do you assess this clear talent advantage?

The average 5 year recruiting composite ranking per 24/7 sports and (Juniors and Seniors that played in the game who got drafted):

2010- BYU 46.6 (0 draft picks) Utah 52.8 (3 draft picks)
2011- BYU 47.4 (1) Utah 49.8 (3)
2012- BYU 52.8 (2) Utah 44.6 (4)
2013- BYU 57 (1) Utah 42.4 (6)

Only a complete and total fool would suggest that BYU had a CLEAR TALENT ADVANTAGE from 2010-2013 when Utah won 4 straight. And from 2005-2009, Kwhitt showed his domination by posting a 2-3 record vs. Bronco. Go figure.
