I honestly believe there is a bit of a power struggle between Emery and Collinsw
Emery is sort of a vocal leader and it quite possibly rubs KC the wrong way and he subsequently sort of disengages.
I think Emery is the right man to run the point and lead the team in this way. That frees up KC to excel in his natural style, and KC would still remain the leader of the team
