Wife and kids went to her folks this morning for Thanksgiving, so I was on my
own. Hit up a local German restaurant that had a special menu for Thanksgiving. I went with the pork cutlet with apricot glaze and apricot chutney. It came with mashed potatoes, red cabbage and bier sausage. I opened with the fondue with bier sausage. It was great. I do love turkey (my wife's is the best), but it wouldn't be my first choice at a restaurant.

It turns out that old people really like to eat out on Thanksgiving. Can't say I blame them if you can find the right restaurant. Driving by, the local Japanese buffet was doing a pretty good business today. I stopped by Fred Meyer's to pick up some Sushi for later and that place was packed as well. There was a lot of traffic on the roads.

Have a great Thanksgiving Day.
