predictable patterns of plays on offense and defense, with the mistaken belief that perfect execution trumps the fact that the other side knows exactly what's coming. You also know that Bronco's approach to these instate games is to treat them like we are playing East Carolina or even Wagner - just another game, while also knowing that no other instate team does that when preparing for BYU. You know that BYU is a good team that often plays stupid football in important situations, that it is prone to snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. You also know, from experience, that BYU seems satisfied with 8 win seasons, and that we already have 8 wins.

Honestly, I don't know how you're feeling or why. These are the things gnawing at me. In a nutshell, it comes down to a general lack of confidence based on the overall body of work. We should have blown out SJSU, but nearly gave it away. We should have defeated UCLA and Mizzou, but couldn't close the deal in the fourth quarter, completely collapsing at the most critical times. So, we just don't know what we are going to see from BYU in Logan tomorrow. I think the guys will be up for the game and ready to pound the Aggies. But, I well remember last year's game in Provo - not to mention watching Bronco's team quit on him in the second half of the 54-10 loss to Utah at LES in 2011. So, anything's possible - including a blow out victory for BYU. Therein lies my angst.
