My rationale was blow out losses are the worst kind of loss for a program of BYU's caliber, particularly against in-state rivals, and especially with Bronco specializing in defense. A defensive-minded HC should be able to keep the other team from scoring often, so that the game is always within reach, even if you don't always get the win.
I can't really put Missouri any higher than 12th on Bronco's worst losses, because Missouri is an SEC team, the game was close, back up QB/RB, offensive line just barely returning to action against a great defense, and really I put more of the blame for that loss on bone-headed penalties by the players than Bronco necessarily being out coached.
