Lavell is a hall of fame coach. He changed football...not just college football. His legacy is secure. He can handle analysis of the roses and thorns in his career. Nothing posted on this board will have any effect.
But let's be honest, if the internet were alive when he coached the Bronco haters would have been Lavell haters and Bronco defenders would have been Lavell defenders.
I'm glad he didn't face social media. He was a good man that would not have merited the character assassination that would have occurred. Of course, neither does Bronco...But haters have the power of the click and send now. The world is what it is.
