He was probably the first person to point out that the Emperor had no clothes on with Jake Heaps. He was mocked and dismissed for pointing out that Heaps had serious flaws even after his early success. He would point out substantive reasons why he thought Heaps wouldn't pan out. This was when everyone, including myself, was sure Heaps' performance against the likes of UTEP meant he was destined for greatness. At the time, I thought he was just bitter towards BYU, but everything he said turned out regarding Heaps.
I have paid close attention to what he said after that and he has been spot on more than most "experts."
