I think Michael Romney may have met his match on the ESPN discussion board.
Found this gem on the Utah State game thread:

Awesome! Michael Rambo Romney is doubling down on the ludicrous lie he told on this board this past summer, that he fought at the battle of Tora Bora, while at the same time he is denigrating the many Mormons who serve and have served courageously in the US Armed Forces. Rambo Romney claimed (as a weak attempt to intimidate a BYU fan here) that he was part of a group of government contracted fighters who were at Tora Bora. There are several problems with this, but the two major ones: First, there were no government contractors at Tora Bora. This is well documented in books written by Special Ops Soldiers and CIA agents who were there. Second, Romney claimed that he started his training after 9/11, and was in Afghanistan hunting Bin Laden at Tora Bora, which was in early December 2001. No one with any military background would possibly believe that. The US soldiers who were there were all super elites. Seal Team Six, Delta, 24th STS. All of them with years of top level training . And Romney wants us to believe that in his late thirties he went from civilian to SuperSoldier in TWO MONTHS, and that the US military decided that what we really needed to defeat Osama Bin Laden was the Old Men's Greenhorn Recruit Brigade. Michael Romney's Fantasy Life. Bestselling author without any books on Amazon, Legendary Golfer at U of Hawaii who was egregiously omitted from the school website's list of all-time lettermen, middle-age killing machine, and of course the highlight of his life, that one time at Band Camp. Hilarious.
