I have wondered if Taysom coming back is the best thing or if BYU should move 100% with Tanner. But the way I look at it now is they can make both work and work well. The odds of having one QB make it all season (especially next year) for every play is pretty low. Next year is going to be very difficult and Taysom is simply a stud. Also, I think Tanner can and will learn a lot from Taysom.
Yes I have flipped on this, but I can do whatever I want. It is probably mostly because I get excited again at thinking about Williams and Taysom for a senior season with an even more improved line.
This isn't to imply that Tanner isn't the man, because he has been amazing this year and I think he will only get better. More reps, more time, fall and spring camp will help Tanner so much and I will be happy either way, but having two stud QBs will be amazing.
