Isn't just handed over out of loyalty. Let the best man win the job. If I was Tanner and the job was just handed to Taysom without a fair competition I would transfer for sure. I would never want to play for a coach that picks favorites like that. If Taysom beats him out soundly in fall camp then that is a different story. Don't give the job to either, let them compete.

BTW I would assume they would let them compete fairly.
