You on the other hand don't acknowledge that the two teams didn't conduct a controlled experiment with identical variables. Utah got the home field advantage 75% of the time. Huge advantage. Huge. Always. Since sports were invented. Utah played 3 of 4 with that tremendous advantage.
BYU...Which never lost at home...only got it once. Huge disadvantage. Huge. Always. It's why teams fight for home field advantage. It's why we all said our women's soccer team got screwed.
Do you know that none of our BYU athletic programs have lost at home this year? Football, basketball, women's soccer, women's volleyball...we're something like 37-0 at home.
Utah got that advantage 3 out of 4 times. Huge advantage.
