If the committee's goal is to encourage tough nonconference games, they need to let Stanford into the playoff with a win next week. Stanford is basically out of consideration for the playoff with 2 losses, despite playing two top 25 teams in the nonconference along with their 9 game P12 schedule and a championship game. The entire B12 played nobody in the nonconference and doesn't play a championship game.
