vs teams that were not all they were cracked up to be in Boise, Nebraska, and Cinci. Had they finished 10-2 with a loss against the bad MO team, then I would consider this a good season. At 9-3 against a schedule that was weaker than we expected, I consider it a pretty good year. It was a good in-season coaching job, given the lack of depth he has recruited in the trenches and at LB over the last several years.
I think the depth is improving so I will also give him credit for that. But given the resources he has at his disposal, I do not consider him the second coming of LaVell as some here do.
