BYU has excelled when they have top-notch coordinators to make up for average talent (compared with P5 teams). However Anae is not very creative and certainly doesn't look to exploit vulnerabilities during the course of a game. As others have noted Anae is at heart an O-lineman. Just beat your man in front of you and that is 80% of the battle. Unfortunately BYU can't do that against more talented teams.
