I'm not sure what your point is
That we play less teams that have the potential to be ranked at season end? So we should expect the number to be low? So you think 3 in 11 years sounds pretty good?
Bronco's record against P5 (that says nothing of ranked P5) is average at best (even considering BYU's talent level). But you also have to take into account the advantage in only playing a few P5's each year. It's easier to have a Boise State schedule and have a high P5 win percentage than to have a Utah schedule and have a high P5 win percentage.
