Basically you have to buy the whole movie and watch it while it's fully purchased.
That's how I think they get around certain laws. So if a movie is priced at 15 bucks, you pay the full $15, then when you sell it back, w/ in 24 hours, you get $13 back. That $13 will remain on your VidAngel account. So you essentially will always have a balance that's unused with VidAngel. The only way to get your money is to email them that you want to cash out.

On another note, as stated by others, their customer service is pretty good. I tried to sell back the movie w/ in 24 hours but something was wrong w/ the site and it didn't let me. So the next day I finally sold it back, but that charged me another day's worth of fees. I emailed them and they believed me no problem and refunded the $2 bucks they overcharged...
