Keep in mind there are no facts to sustain this view.
Weren't we saying losing to UCLA by a point put us on parity with them? Well, we beat the third place team by one point, the first place MWC team beat them by 23 points. We beat Utah state, so did the first place team by a score of 48-14. We would not have been MWC champs.
