You left out PED's, & Carroll cheating at SC. One thing I do think is the case more than in the past, grown men not manning up & accepting the outcome w/o deluding themselves by believing their team lost for some reason not within their control.

Except for calls the best QBs get to protect them, & the disadvantage to D in the modern game, I'd be willing to bet statistical analysis shows tight/iffy calls are spread equally amongst the league.
