"You have a playoff team with a worse loss than our Mizzou loss" negates your
Premise. OU is a playoff team, BYU isn't. They have a much better record against a much tougher schedule. BYU is not in the same ballpark as OU. So no use cherry picking data to excuse or rationalize BYU's lost to Mizzou. It sucked, we lost. Shouldn't have happened against that Mizzou side. Bronco would agree. Hope the team and coaches learn from it and move on. OU obviously did and won out to likely make the CFP...beating some very good teams along the way.
I'm not trying to support or criticize Bronco with this post. The Mizzou loss was on everybody not just Bronco...players, coaches, the guy who drove the bus. It was across the board. Let's all hope it was a thing of the past and 2016 doesn't have any Mizzou-type losses.
