Your point is accurate, the loss was bad. Even worse in person. My counterpoint
was that anyone who uses the "everyone else has a bad loss" argument to support their guy (in this case BM) must also consider the "how do your best wins compare" argument as well. BYU may have measured up by way of bad loss this year; but peaking at #22 before getting obliterated at the hands of UM isn't really measuring up to being in CFP contention or being ranked all season like OU or many of those teams have done.
