Have people really knocked Emery? He's small and will be taken advantage of by taller guards, but the kid is already 100% legit as a D1 player and a leader on the team. We don't EVER get freshmen like that.
The FT shooting is my biggest concern right now.
But the D is better--although that may not be saying much. The team is unselfish and all 5 guys on the court can usually score when given the chance. This hasn't been true the last couple of years.
This team can be very good, and yes, the ball still needs to go through the post. The guards will get theirs, but teams have to respect Corbin and Davis in the paint.
On that front, I've been very impressed with Corbin's back to the basket improvement this year.
