The problem with the Hawaii Bowl is they need to pick their teams before the
season starts. Sort of like the agreement they will have for BYU in 2019. If BYU is eligible and not going to a NY6 of playoff game, then they are going to Hawaii.
I would have bought tickets for $490 round trip back in September knowing that after 2 losses, BYU was Hawaii bound. No way I am going to pay $1200 round trip now.
They should work it out the MWC. If a certain team is eligible, they go to Hawaii.
