What I've picked up on reading Cougarboard threads about this

he transferred last year Dec 14. Has to sit out until 12/14/15, then is eligible to play. Right now he is a redshirt freshman who is sitting out the season (thus far). He redshirted at Wazzu last year. So whether he plays the bowl or not, he'll be a RS Soph next year.
