Ok,

So, the kids are asking for some more stuff for their Disney Infinity game ... and to be honest, I'm having some trouble with understanding the whole system... platform vs base and figures and playsets and power disks ... and two play modes as well....

A quick primer would be great ....

We have infinity base ... connected to a WII (not a WII U) .... Can that base be used with a newer console (or even with a computer now that they have it for the PC)?
Game Discs ... Is there more than one game disk, or just one game disk for Infinity, and a new game disk of Infinity 2.0?

Other tips and tricks would be great ...

It looks to me like we'd have to start over and get everything new at this point .... and that is probably not worth it ...
