Granted there's no perfect solution but we regulate everything else in life. Somebody needs to be in charge of the way teams schedule their OOC games. Teams would be required to play at least one P5 conference team on the road and at home. And it would rotate annually so say an SEC team would have to play a Pac12 team on the road and vice versa. One FCS game would be permitted every year.

Eventually we should be headed to 4 or 5 16 team conferences which would make it easier. But no way should the Big12 be allowed to schedule like this and get away with it.
