Pretty much my favorite pitcher. I thought the Sox had a chance at him. I'm glad that they're paying for him. He's twice as good as Lester or Lackey. Well worth waiting a year to get him.

Supposedly the contract is $217M / 7 Years. Crazy to think he'll make a quarter of a BILLION dollars in the next 7 years. He'll be as rich as Mitt Romney was in '12 in 7 years. Wow. I don't even think the Tampa Bay Rays are worth a quarter of a billion as a franchise; amazing how much the Sox can spend.
