Enjoyed seeing a Houston team this past year take the next step with a new coaching staff. In his postgame, on-field remarks, the head coach specifically mentioned that the senior class buying into what the coaches were trying to create was the key component to their success, BY FAR.
Now the UVa coaches are contemplating tossing aside and rising senior 3-year starter for Taysom. Would they get an amazing athlete for one year? Absolutely. But they might lose a decent number of returning UVa kids as a result.
But given their choices at times at BYU, I shouldn't be surprised by the fact they can't see what they'd destroy. Getting more money doesn't mean you're less stupid.
