St Johns has a bigger basketball following than UConn in NY. Rutgers, Penn State and Army have bigger football followings than UConn.

UConn's stadium is about in par with the Colorado State stadium that is being replaced.

UConn brings you great basketball tradition and a state with 6 million viewers. It is the #1 college to follow in CT (over Yale) but CT is pro sports territory. I'd say it compares pretty evenly with Colo State on most metrics. Basketball puts it slightly ahead, imho, but only slightly.
