Your assumptions ignore the disadvantage of missions
RMs tend to be 2-3 years older than the players from other teams when they graduate.

When two players hare similar ability, who will most NFL teams pick, the older more mature player with a shorter future that will need to see the field immediately to make drafting him worthwhile, or the younger player who the team can spend a couple of years developing?

There is a reason that 25-26 yr old BYU players can have a great career, do well at the combine, and then not be drafted. Using number of players drafted as a measurement criteria for the BYU coach is being willfully ignorant.
