ACC schools are B1G's and SEC's primary expansion targets - if that ever happens
North Carolina, Duke, Virginia, Virginia Tech, and Georgia Tech are on the B1G wish list.
The SEC covets expansion into the states of North Carolina and Virginia.
The Big 12 schools are hoping that the B1G goes after its targets, sparking the SEC to expand as well - which means that FSU, Clemson, Miami and Louisville would become extremely interested in Big 12 membership.
Much ado about nothing for now - unless the B1G or SEC pushes over a realignment domino. The most likely timing before 2025 is likely within the next year - because of the B1G negotiations concerning a new media contract.
