Attended games at Georgetown HS last year. One team Pflugerville ran around keeping possession until getting a foul. The would shoot a freethrow or find someone wide open. This wasn't just a few seconds it was for about 3 minutes of ball handling ...dribbling in and out of the key. It was the most boring thing I've ever witnessed. Pflugerville was mostly black and Georgetown mostly white. It was the worst basketball game I have ever attended. 20 point victory by Pflugerville but they ran this control offense the entire game up until the final whistle.
I need to ask forgiveness for this but I yelled "BORING!!!" several times. Knowing I was old and crippled, I didn't think anyone would come after me. They didn't but haven't been to another HS basketball game since!
