Re watch it. Denver DL does not recover it clean. If Cam dives, he gets it.
Ball squirted away from Denver DL. For 4-5 seconds, Cam would have/ did have best shot at that thing. At a minimum, it was certainly a 50/50 ball at least.
It was for the Super Bowl--wouldn't want him to have a broken nail all off season.
