I thought it would be a brilliant move when the Catholic 7 started talking about taking the rights to the conference and kicking the rest of the football schools out. A few years in, it looks like they made the right call. They are thriving as a "Big 6" basketball league without having to deal with the entanglements of football.

My only regret is that BYU isn't located in Omaha, Nebraska. BYU for Creighton is a no-brainer as the Westernmost school in the Big East .
