He has been in hoops coaching for a good number of years and someone who has seen and had teams compete against a lot of really good players. He just gushed about this monster of a kid this year that he says is the best he has seen play and has the tools to dominate at the next level.

I wasn't even in the conversation at first but my ears got even more elvish than usual when he said BYU is getting this "beast" of a player. So I moved into the circle and hea d more about the kid he was talking about...says they doubled and tripled the kid with their biggest and strongest post players, and the kid would still throw down dunks, burn them in the post and could even step out and nail 3's fairly consistently. He said that Bingham was his toughest game because of this kid. I then had him confirm the name...yep, it was indeed Yoeli Childs. He feels like that kid could start next year and give some relief to the post scoring that BYU has lacked the last few years. He says he will watch BYU the next few years with the players coming in even though he is a UCLA fan. Just wanted to share...
