I did it because he lost a heartbreaker of a super bowl and wanted to see how he would hold up to the media asking about the game. IMO losing the way the Seahawks did last year would hurt more than how the Panthers lost this year. But Russell Wilson was composed, talked about what happened, owned up, was optimistic, and showed that he is a leader.
